On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley. Beaumont is one of those staples, and after picking up a breakfast burrito there today I knew it deserved a spot on this list.

I appreciate Beaumont for many reasons, but convenience and freshness top the list. If you spend time in the Wasatch mountains, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before an outdoor day. I often grab a breakfast burrito on the way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it fast and accessible without sacrificing quality. I enjoy drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots, but they sometimes leave me feeling greasy and sluggish—especially when I’m about to be very active. Beaumont’s version manages to be satisfying without that overly greasy feeling.

Their breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing adds a bright, tangy finish that brings all the flavors together. A good sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and Beaumont gets it right.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. They serve excellent coffee and pastries, and their burrata salad is a standout. Beaumont is a reliable neighborhood stop with a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtfully prepared food.
A quick note about timing: good food draws crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends can get busy, and you’ll often find people gathered outside. If you’re just picking up coffee and pastries, the counter or drive-through is a quick option. If you plan to sit down, expect a possible wait on weekend mornings. The patio and the interior are both charming, so it’s worth the patience when you can.
Overall, Beaumont is an easy recommendation for a fresh, convenient breakfast—especially if you need a solid meal before heading into the mountains.
