These Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies are made with only four ingredients. A quick shortcut for fresh-baked cookies when you want delicious results with very little effort.

The easiest chocolate cookies
I have many cake mix recipes because cake mix is an easy base for quick treats when I want something fresh without spending a lot of time. A single box of cake mix can be transformed into cakes, muffins, bars, and these cookies.
These double chocolate cookies are rich and indulgent, yet incredibly simple to make. For this recipe you only need a box of chocolate cake mix, oil, eggs, and chocolate chips.

The batter comes together in about five minutes and then you bake. They’re almost too easy for how good they taste.

How to make cookies from cake mix
Step 1: In a large bowl, add the cake mix, eggs, and oil. Beat until the ingredients are well combined.

Step 2: Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula until evenly distributed.

Step 3: Portion the dough onto a baking sheet using a mini cookie scoop or spoons. Roll each portion into a ball with your hands.

Step 4: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes.

Recipe Tip
Cookies are done when the edges are set and the tops have a crackled appearance.

Step 5: Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

The cookies have a fudgy, slightly cakey interior and crisp edges on the outside — a great contrast of textures.
These cookies are a fun and easy recipe for kids to help with and a helpful time-saver when you need a dessert quickly.
