Balsamic Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

Directions

Place hulled, sliced strawberries in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and let sit 5 minutes to draw out the juices. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, then refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld. For best flavor, allow them to marinate longer.

At roughly 60 calories and 2 grams of fiber per ½ cup, these strawberries are a light, satisfying treat for summer.
